“Outside of the comfort zone
IS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS” - Anonymous
Hey guys!
I am happy to finally get around
to this post which we shot a while back. I have prepared this post a week ago
but became so super busy (I know as always) that I could only click publish
today. However, as the saying goes “rather late that never” right?
If you have been following my
Instagram you might have seen my rant about this kicks from Adidas and how it
is way out of my comfort zone and yes, I know that this might seem ironic but
it’s true. I totally wear heels more than sneakers. This is the very first time
I did a street style post and I have to admit I enjoyed it a lot. It’s crazy
how life seems to throw you in various directions and you sometimes don’t have
a clue what you’re going to do and how you’re going to make the best of it. I
am at that stage in my life that, if I am not uncomfortable with where I find
myself (circumstances), then I become frustrated and constantly seek ways of
doing something new. This feeling has become home for me and something I
actually thrive on the last few months. Are you okay with being out of your
comfort zone? This is ultimately the only way to grow and take yourself to the
next level of where you are destined to be. Have faith and tell yourself it’s
ok to be uncomfortable and try to leave all fears behind. At first, this
feeling made me feel terribly afraid but the beauty of it all is that at the
end of the comfort zone is where the magic happens.
ABOUT MY LOOK
This could
be a typical Friday afternoon look or whenever you feel like taking it eezy. I paired these Adidas Element Refine Tricot Shoe, which is very comfortable similar to the yeezy 350 by Kanye West, with a longer
length vest. Now this vest has been my favourite since last season but can be a
problem for girls as it shows off your whole bra. However, I usually wear a
funky crop top underneath and this pretty much solves the problem girls ;-). I
kept it basic by adding a pair of black ripped knee skinny legs and my biker
jacket for some edge. Minimal accessories as you can see to keep it simple and
clean.
Thank you for reading
I now leave you with the rest of the images below. Enjoy and don’t forget to
keep on following on Insta for more style updates.
